1. Check system requirements (quick)
Make sure your PC meets the minimum/recommended specs before installing:
- OS: Windows 10 (64‑bit) / Windows 11 recommended.
- CPU: Quad core 3.4GHz minimum (recommended: 6‑core+ for multi‑cam / 4K).
- RAM: 8GB minimum (16GB+ recommended).
- GPU: Dedicated GPU (NVIDIA GTX 10xx or better recommended).
- Storage: SSD recommended for recordings.

2. Download the installer Zip
scroll down bellow and downloadd the link and read carefully the simple instruction inside..
3. Run the installer
- Close other programs. Right‑click the downloaded
vMixSetup.exe→ Run as administrator. - Follow the install wizard (Accept license, choose install folder).
- When finished, launch vMix.
4. Activate trial / enter license
- On first run, vMix will offer the 60‑day trial or let you enter a purchased license key.
- If you bought a license, enter the license code in Help → License or during first launch.

5. (Optional) Install companion tools & plugins
From the same download page you can also install:
- vMix Desktop Capture — capture another Windows PC screen via NDI/OMT. vmix.com

6. First Run — auto‑configure & basic setup
- On first run the Auto‑Configuration Wizard can detect optimal settings — run it to set base resolution, frame rate, and bitrate.
- Create Scenes and add Inputs:
- Add Input → Camera (webcam or capture card)
- Add Input → Video File / Playlist / NDI / RTMP / Desktop Capture / Title
- Assign audio inputs (Audio Mixer) and check levels.

7. Set up streaming (YouTube/Twitch/Custom RTMP)
- In vMix → Stream tab: choose Service (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook) or Custom RTMP.
- Paste your Stream Key/Server from the streaming platform.
- Set encoder (NVENC if you have a modern NVIDIA GPU for offloading encoding).
- Start Stream when ready.

8. Recording & Output
- Use Record to save locally (choose container: MP4/MKV).
- Use Multiview and Virtual Output / NDI to send feeds to other devices.
